Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for daily service.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional food service.
- Support the team in maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a restaurant or catering environment preferred.
- Current AZ Food Handler card
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Familiarity with menu planning and dietary considerations is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
