Job Summary
City Glass Company is looking for a dependable Warehouse Receiver Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and being an important part of a team that supports commercial and residential construction projects throughout Southern Colorado.
No warehouse experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is hardworking, dependable, and eager to learn.
City Glass is the largest and oldest glass company in Colorado Springs outside the Denver Metro area. For more than 75 years, we have built our reputation on quality workmanship, outstanding customer service, and strong employee relationships.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments and verify materials against packing slips
- Unload and organize glass, metal, hardware, and other materials
- Stage materials for fabrication, installation crews, and deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
- Help track inventory and notify supervisors of shortages or damaged materials
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Occasionally deliver materials to job sites and customers
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be insurable under company vehicle insurance policy
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving, or construction experience is helpful but not required
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
