Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Oncology Infusion Clinic for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an Oncology RN, Infusion RN, Chemotherapy RN, or Outpatient RN looking to join a nationally recognized academic medical center.
Enjoy day shifts only, Monday–Friday, with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements while working in a collaborative outpatient oncology environment.
Assignment Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Oncology Infusion Clinic
- Location: Columbus, OH
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: August 10, 2026
- Shift: Days | 5×8-Hour Shifts
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Pay: $50.00–$52.00 per hour
- No Weekends
- No Holidays
- No Call
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and IV infusions.
- Access and maintain implanted ports, PICC lines, and central venous catheters.
- Perform central line blood draws and routine line care.
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments and respond to adverse reactions.
- Recognize abnormal laboratory values and communicate findings promptly.
- Respond to oncology emergencies including anaphylaxis, sepsis, and chemotherapy extravasation.
- Safely handle and dispose of hazardous chemotherapy medications.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, symptom management, and supportive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.

Minimum Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
- Minimum 2 years of Outpatient Infusion or Oncology RN experience.
- Previous Travel Nursing experience required.
- Current BLS Certification.
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification (Required).
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
- Excellent IV therapy and infusion nursing skills.
