This is a dedicated local position running grocery freight for one of the largest retail chains in the country. Same customer, same lanes, same schedule every week. You know exactly when you start, where you are going, and when you are home.
THE JOB:
You will haul palletized grocery freight out of a distribution center in the Sumner/Tacoma, WA area to customers across Washington and Oregon. Dry van, reefer, and pup trailers. Average 17 stops per day, 11 loads per week.
This is an activity-based pay position the more efficiently you work, the more you earn.
COMPENSATION:
- $0.54 $0.58 CPM
- Drivers averaging $1,700 per week $88,000+ annually
- $30 per no touch stop
- $45 per driver assist stop
- $25 per doubles load
- Yearly $0.01 CPM increase until max pay reached
- Outsource work: $200$400 per day
- Training pay: $20/hr $30/hr overtime

SCHEDULE:
- Tuesday Saturday
- Start time: 9:00 PM 12:00 AM
- Average 11-hour day
- Optional 6th day available
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 3 months experience
- Must live within 60 miles of Puyallup, WA (zip 98371)
- Must be able to chain as weather dictates
- Must pass DOT physical and drug test
- Doubles endorsement required within 60 days of hire. Company reimburses full cost.
