Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to transport freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO DEPENDABLE DRIVERS TO MAKE DELIVERIES TO OUR RETAIL LOCATIONS. THIS JOB DOES REQUIRE UNLOADING BAGGED ICE WITH A HELPER THAT WILL BE RIDING ALONG WITH YOU.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across diverse routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring secure handling of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; familiarity with manual transmission preferred.
- will be hauling and delivering ice to retail locations.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations and securing cargo properly.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks independently.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
