The successful candidate will gain comprehensive exposure to tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and accounting and auditing working under the direct mentorship of senior management and partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including compilations and reviews, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Research complex tax and accounting issues using professional research tools.
- Communicate professionally with clients to gather necessary financial documentation and address routine inquiries.
- Engage in community and professional organizations to support the firm’s local presence and foster professional relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Licensure: Active CPA license, or actively pursuing the CPA designation with the necessary credit hours completed to sit for the examination (CPA-eligible).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel). Familiarity with professional accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Lacerte, ProSystem fx) is advantageous.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities are essential for client interaction.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
