Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and motivated Service Assistant / Salad Bar Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be comfortable in a fast paced environment working in close proximity to other people. Moderate customer service and background in food preparation and safety are preferred. As a Service Assistant / Salad Bar Attendant, you will perform a variety of tasks that facilitate our reputation for exceptional service. Responsibilities include guests interactions, food handling, stocking, cleaning and miscellaneous related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist servers by bussing trays promptly, clearing dishes, and stacking for dishwasher
- Maintain cleanliness of salad bar areas, including sweeping, stocking the bar, wiping down countertops, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support food handling and delivery to ensure timely service while adhering to safety standards
- Help with basic kitchen tasks such as restocking supplies and organizing service stations
- Provide friendly assistance to guests, answering questions about the salad bar items
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong cleaning and bussing skills to maintain a tidy work space efficiently
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and enhancing guest experiences
- Working in close proximity to team members.
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
