Duties
- Supervise nightly kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation and cooking meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with health codes and safety protocols
- Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high performance standards
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift transitions and efficient service flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, reconcile daily sales, and manage cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen environment at all times
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on night shifts
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for inventory control and sales tracking
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards, hospitality management principles, and kitchen operations
- Ability to handle budgeting responsibilities and implement food production strategies effectively
