Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Structural Design Engineer with extensive knowledge in API above-ground storage tank design and repair, particularly related to DoD fuel systems. The ideal candidate will possess an API 653 certification and demonstrate a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead structural engineering efforts for the design, inspection, and repair of above-ground fuel storage tanks.

Prepare engineering calculations for the structural design of concrete foundations, steel POL storage tanks, structures, pipe supports, equipment and maintenance platforms, and industrial buildings.

Conduct thorough assessments of existing tanks to identify structural and hydraulic deficiencies and prepare inspection reports, including recommending appropriate repair solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective design solutions that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.

Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and project teams.

Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to above-ground tank design and repair.

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.

Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience required

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and international.
