Mixer Machine Operator Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local manufacturer who is seeking a Mixer Machine Operator to join their team. The Mixer Machine Operator will follow formulation instructions to mix and mill dielectric materials using a ball mill, hock mill, and bead mill. The ideal Mixer Machine Operator has 6 months of experience working with chemicals in a manufacturing environment. The Mixer Machine Operator is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Camarillo, CA.
Mixer Machine Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Read & Follow Formulation Sheets & Weigh Materials & Chemicals on Scales
- Load Mills & Set Timers Per Specifications
- Use Analytical Equipment to Verify, Including Zahn Cup & Specific Gravity Cup
- Assist When Needed in Cleaning Solvent & Material Spills
- Set Up & Operate Casting Machines
- Communicate with Internal Departments Including Engineering, Quality, Production Control & Leads
- Inspect Work or Materials Produced
- Follow all Safety & PPE Guidelines
Mixer Machine Operator Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At Least 6 Months of Experience Working in a Manufacturing Environment; Clean Room Experience is a Plus
- Experience Working With Chemicals, Measuring & Mixing Experience Preferred
- Experience Wearing a Full Mask Respirator
- Experience Setting Up & Operating Semi-Automated Machines is a Plus
- Basic Computer Skills
- Good Communication Skills, Both Verbal & Written
