Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EBD ESE (Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities Exceptional Student Education) Teacher to join our dynamic educational team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state and federal regulations for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities
- Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects such as literacy, math, science, and social studies, integrating educational technology and adaptive learning tools
- Utilize evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies to support positive student behaviors
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, occupational therapists, counselors, and parents to ensure comprehensive student support
- Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management strategies that promote safety, engagement, and inclusivity
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
- Incorporate specialized instruction for students with visual impairments or other disabilities, including deaf education and early childhood interventions when applicable
- Facilitate social-emotional learning activities that foster communication skills, self-regulation, and peer interactions
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, behavior incidents, IEP goals, and compliance records in accordance with educational laws such as special education law
Experience
- Florida Department of Education Teacher License
- Prior classroom experience teaching students with disabilities in a special education setting is preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for students with emotional or behavioral challenges
- Experience working with individuals with EBD is a plus
- Knowledge of educational compliance standards including IEP development, special education law, and standardized testing procedures
- Proficiency in using learning technology tools for instructional design and student engagement is desirable
- Background in speech therapy techniques or behavioral health practices such as behavioral therapy or recreational therapy is advantageous
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and external service providers are essential

Pay: $51,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
