American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience with Level I trauma and circulator experience, and a NM or compact RN license.

Work in the Operating Room of a Level I Trauma, acute care teaching hospital that also serves as a Children's Hospital with 554 staffed beds
-
Patient ratio is 1:1
-
Day shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)

On-call is required, consisting of approximately 24–36 hours per month; details can be discussed with OR leadership

2–3 weekends required per month

Block scheduling is not available
-
No floating required
-
Charting is done in Cerner
-
Purple scrubs are provided by the facility

Free parking is available on-site
-
Active NM or compact RN license required; pending license accepted

Current BLS (BCLS) certification required; RQI certifications are not accepted

Minimum 3 years of OR RN experience required

Level I trauma experience required

OR circulator experience required

Cerner EMR experience strongly recommended given charting requirements

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO requests exceeding 7 days require prior approval; all scheduling requests should be submitted upfront

Travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark at this facility are required to take a 6-month break before returning

New contracts and extensions must be a minimum of 10 weeks
