Loan Officer
Job Summary:
Responsible for soliciting, negotiating and coodinating the Bank’s loan products and services in compliance with Bank’s lending policies and procedures. The sucessful candidate must have strong customers service and sales orientation, credit training and solid loan production experience with emphasis on commercial real estate lending and production sales.
Essential duties and responsbilities include the following (this job description does not list all the duties of the job.)
· Responsible for sourcing prospecive clients, and presenting the Bank’s products and services.
· Promote the Bank’s loan products and generate new loans and deposits from potential customers to achieve financial objectives.
· Exhibit solid analytical and credit skills.
· Good communication skills with customers and co-workers.
· Actively participate in various civil services and social activities to increase the Bank’s exposure and enhance new business opportunities including CRA loans.
· Work closely with Regional Loan Manager/Officers and C.L.O. in determing financial objective/goals and quality of services.
Qualifications –
· A self-starter, has flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic environment and has ability to learn quickly
· 5+ years in a bank commercial lending related experience such as credit portfolio management or credit training or commercial loan business development with proven successful track record and networking or underwriting commercial real estate loan and construction loan.
· 2+ years of analytical & credit underwriting experience
· Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills are critical
· Assertive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; prefer in finance, accounting, or marketing major or concentration.
· Good knowledge of a financial institution's commercial lending procedures
· Demonstrate strong service and support oriented skills.
· Fluency in English and one of the following languages is preferred: Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
