A local residential construction and property management company is seeking a dependable, hands-on individual to assist with rental property maintenance and support its construction teams throughout the Fargo–Moorhead area.
The primary responsibility of this position will be completing approximately 6 rental property turns per month. This includes working through a list of necessary repairs and touchups between tenants, such as patching holes, painting doors, completing minor maintenance, and making sure each unit is clean and ready for occupancy.
Outside of unit turns and work orders, this individual will help wherever needed across active construction sites and company-owned properties. Additional responsibilities may include:
- Completing punch-list and basic handyman work
- Pressure washing and cleaning mechanical areas
- Mowing and maintaining vacant lots
- Delivering parts, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Assisting superintendents and other team members with general site needs
This position requires someone who can manage their own schedule and stay productive without being given a new list of tasks each day. Unit turns will typically have a firm deadline, and the successful candidate will be trusted to organize the work, complete it efficiently, and ensure it is done correctly.
The ideal candidate will have:
- General maintenance, handyman, or construction experience
- The ability to complete basic repairs, patching, and painting
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail and pride in the finished product
- The flexibility to move between rental properties and construction sites as needed
Pay is $60k - $70k depending on experience.
