Job Summary:
Be a member of a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to sustainability and changing the world by redeeming people, places, and things. We work to support the local community in need while also keeping usable items out of the landfill through our pass through programs and various marketplaces such as eBay and our fundraising thrift shop, The Swedemom Store, on 3rd Street in McMinnville.

Job Description:
As one of the only nonprofits of its kind, MacHub relies on the efficiency of our production processes. We are looking to develop a production team that meets daily goals, driven by a positive and supportive mentality. To deliver on our promise to customers, we count on exceptionally talented, bright, and committed people. Currently, we’re seeking a professional photographer to help us build our nonprofit and reach our goals within our community warehouse in McMinnville, Oregon. Duties include taking professional images of products, troubleshooting errors, and being our organization's photographer for marketing purposes. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, works well with a team, a technology native with a teachable, positive attitude, and is committed to daily operations while keeping a strong attendance record.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the implementation and completion of imaging a donated item including staging the item, capturing 5 high quality images of the item, and editing and reviewing photos before uploading into our system.
- Taking high quality images of our store displays, products, employees, volunteers, customers, and more for marketing purposes.
- Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized.
- Assure proper maintenance of machines and equipment in the area.
- Follow written and verbal instructions, attend meetings, and perform other tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must have high quality photography skills.
- Must be able to use various Adobe products like Photoshop and Light Room.
- Must have professional knowledge of most cameras including troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, helping to lift, motivate, and educate team members in the photography area.
- Must be okay with repetition of work.
- Must be reliable with a good attendance record.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of online sales is helpful.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good time management skills.
- Experience in production or manufacturing is a plus.
- Good organizing and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience with the community or volunteering is a plus.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Typical Physical Activity
● Physical demands/requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, moving loaded carts weighing up to 150 pounds, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Typical Environmental Conditions
● Production areas are typical of an office/warehouse facility which includes variations in temperature, sound, odors, humidity, lint and dust.
