Overview
We are seeking a full-time detail-oriented and proactive Appointment Coordinator/Retail Sales/Keyholder to join our team. In this role, you will assist in scheduling appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for organization, and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience. We need someone to work 30-37 hrs., possibly more when needed. Opportunity to become a Certified Pet Nutritionist after 90 days to enhance your knowledge of the pet industry and customers needs.
Duties
- Manage incoming appointment requests via phone and online platforms.
- Schedule and confirm appointments while maintaining an organized calendar.
- Provide information about services and products to customers, ensuring clarity and understanding through retail sales abilities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
- Assist in stock management by monitoring inventory levels and restocking as needed.
- Educate customers about products.
- Offer upselling opportunities.
- Maintain a professional phone etiquette while interacting with clients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Open and close store and register.
Requirements
- Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions.
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is required.
- Experience with upselling techniques and product demonstrations is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
- Excellent phone etiquette to ensure positive interactions with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to lift more than 30 lbs.
- Basic cleaning abilities to assist with cleaning the store at the end of the day.
