Join a nationally recognized cancer program as a Travel Registered Nurse – Outpatient Hematology Oncology in Columbus, Ohio. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to provide specialized care for patients with hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplant needs in a busy outpatient oncology clinic.
Position Details

- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Pay: Up to $54/hour

Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient nursing care for patients with hematologic malignancies including multiple myeloma, chronic leukemia, lymphoma, and pre/post BMT/CAR-T transplant patients.
- Perform peripheral IV insertions, blood draws, venipuncture, central line and PICC line care, and port access.
- Administer chemotherapy support treatments, blood products, IV antibiotics, injections, and immunizations.
- Monitor patients for oncologic emergencies, infection prevention, and treatment-related complications.
- Perform patient assessments, medication reconciliation, EKGs, vital signs, and patient education.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team while documenting care in Epic.
Requirements
- Active RN License (Compact or Ohio)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Previous travel experience required
- Epic experience preferred
- Strong IV therapy, phlebotomy, central line, PICC line, and port management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient Hematology/Oncology experience
- Chemotherapy and infusion experience
- Experience with blood product administration
- Stem Cell Transplant (BMT/CAR-T) patient care
- Excellent patient education and communication skills
