Investors Management Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Thomaston GA. The ideal candidate is a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in quality work and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on apartment units and common areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, and general maintenance issues.
- Complete unit turns including cleaning, painting, and repairs to prepare apartments for new residents.
- Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and report supply and equipment needs.
- Communicate effectively with Property Manager and other staff regarding resident concerns, unit conditions, and work priorities.
- Adhere to Fair Housing laws and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Must supply own basic hand tools.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
