Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building systems and facilities. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance, and a strong willingness to learn. HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
Working hours are Monday- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. Weekends may be required in emergency situations.
Company vehicle will be provided for use during work hours.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Complete general building maintenance, including drywall repair, doors/locks and flooring.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements
- Perform electrical such as changing outlets, switches and breakers.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues
- Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Skills
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and general building maintenance
- HVAC experience or certification is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed
