Overview
We’re on the hunt for an energetic and reliable Food Runner to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience that keeps our customers coming back.
Duties
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to tables, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Support kitchen staff with food handling, preparation, and basic cleaning tasks as needed.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or large trays of food.
- Communicate effectively with servers, cooks, and guests to meet their needs promptly.
- Follow food safety standards during food running and service to ensure guest safety.
- Use POS systems like Toast required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food safety protocols and basic food handling procedures.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- A positive mindset with a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic setting.
