Position: Furniture Maker

Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift, overtime as needed
About Us
Arden Millworks is a custom cabinet, furniture and millwork shop with a focus on high-end residential homes in the Dallas metro. We work with reputable home builders, architects and interior designers to create custom cabinets and millwork finishes for primarily new construction homes. Our team also creates bespoke furniture pieces to compliment the overall projects we collaborate on.

Cabinet Maker Job Description
The Cabinet Maker / Craftsman is responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom cabinet according to client specifications. This includes working from blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, finishing surfaces, and ensuring the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate woodworking machinery such as table saws, drill press, edge banders, sanders and other wood working equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, a tape measure, shop drawings, and wood species
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Prior experience with woodworking
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery
- Willingness to work by our Core Values
- HS Diploma of equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Valid driver’s license (required for on-site installations & driving company vehicles)
