JAMNOLA is looking for outgoing, organized, people-loving Docents to help create an unforgettable guest experience from the moment visitors walk through our doors.
This isn't just a front desk job.
You're the first smile guests see, the person who keeps the experience flowing, and the calm in the middle of the excitement. Whether you're welcoming visitors, managing the lobby between tours, answering questions, helping guests find their way, or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, you're a huge part of what makes the JAMNOLA experience so special.

What you'll do
- Welcome every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality.
- Check guests in and help them get ready for their JAMNOLA experience.
- Manage lobby flow and help tours stay on schedule.
- Answer guest questions and provide directions throughout the experience.
- Help create a fun, organized, and stress-free environment, even during busy times.
- Support Storytellers and fellow team members to ensure every guest has an amazing visit.
- Help keep public spaces clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Be comfortable appearing in photos and social media content.
What we're looking for
- Available shifts - early afternoon/evening Wednesday thru Monday.
- Shifts are 2:15 - 6:15P Wed, Thur, Sun, Mon / 3:15 - 8:15P on Fri & Sat.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Experience as a host, hostess, front desk associate, concierge, guest services representative, restaurant host, hotel associate, attraction attendant, event staff member, or retail lead is a huge plus, but personality and attitude matter most.

- Wednesday through Monday (JAMNOLA is closed Tuesdays)
- Evening shifts available
- In-person position in New Orleans
