JOB DESCRIPTION:
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and processes
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Desire to be part of a motivated and energetic team
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Bilingual communications skills a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform work in accordance with documented procedures in Traveler package.
- Ensure product inspection criteria are observed and implemented throughout work shift.
- Ensure timely arrival at work station and follow posted break and lunch schedules.
- Follow department work schedule such that machine coverage ensures continuity in production.
- Follow department procedures related to dress code and proper handling of product.
- Track production, scrap, downtime, and machine adjustments that have been performed.
- Stop production and inform supervisor when product does not meet specifications.
- Document production on forms provided to enable accountability.
- Demonstrate care in the use of calibrated measuring instruments provided for the performance of job function.
- Ensure proper function of all tools provided for the inspection and production of product.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Observe all safety requirements in the work area.
- Follow good housekeeping practices in work area at all times.
- Have knowledge of ISO procedures and Quality policy.
- Control non conformances to prevent unintended shipment.
- Ensure all product not meeting specifications are segregated and properly marked.
