Position: Dietary Aide
Location: Jersey City
Shift: Part-Time, Morning Shift
Pay Rate: $15.92 per hour
Acclaim Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our food services team. This role is essential in helping provide residents with quality meals and excellent service in a clean, safe, and caring environment.

Report to work at the assigned time, in proper uniform, and ready for duty
Handle food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures
Follow all safety regulations while operating kitchen equipment
Deliver food carts, trays, and meal items to resident rooms and dining areas
Serve meals in dining rooms
Prepare and distribute snacks as directed
Assist with daily and scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with facility policies
Report discrepancies or concerns to the department supervisor
Provide residents and families with excellent customer service in a compassionate environment
Perform related duties as assigned by the Food Services Director
Support various dietary department tasks based on facility needs
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to make independent decisions when needed
Must maintain cleanliness and proper use of supplies, equipment, and work areas
Ability to inspect food service areas for sanitation, safety, and proper performance of duties
Willingness to learn new methods and incorporate best practices into food service operations
Nursing home experience preferred
