A growing engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Manager to lead project delivery, mentor engineering staff, and oversee infrastructure projects throughout the region.
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Professional Engineer who enjoys managing teams, building client relationships, and delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions. The successful candidate will oversee multiple projects while supporting the continued growth of a well-established engineering practice.
- Lead and mentor a team of civil engineering professionals.
- Manage civil infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Review engineering designs, reports, calculations, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and permitting authorities.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Support business development and project pursuits.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and review project cost estimates, progress reports, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing engineering projects and budgets.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Experience working with public infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Experience leading engineering teams or departments.
- Experience with stormwater, drainage, water resources, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating with local, state, or federal agencies.
- Proficiency with industry-standard engineering software and design tools.
