Position Overview
Prizer Point Marina & Resort is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Store Supervisor to lead daily operations within our camp store. The Store Supervisor serves as a working leader, ensuring cashiers perform their duties efficiently while delivering exceptional guest service.
As the central hub of guest communication, the store plays a vital role in the overall guest experience. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a positive attitude. The Store Supervisor must be able to perform all cashier responsibilities while assisting with training, organization, accountability, and daily store operations.
ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Store Operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests at all times.
- Assist guests with purchases, amenity rentals, campground information, and general inquiries.
- Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues when possible.
- Maintain a welcoming, positive, and guest-focused atmosphere.
- Assist guests requiring medical attention by following company emergency procedures and notifying management immediately.
Leadership & Team Support
- Assist with training and onboarding new store employees.
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and work ethic.
- Support cashiers during busy periods and ensure efficient store operations.
- Help create a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Cash Handling & Accountability
- Operate and assist employees with the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Accurately count and verify cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with nightly deposits and required store documentation.
- Investigate and report any cash discrepancies to management.
Store Appearance & Organization
- Ensure the store, restrooms, and surrounding guest areas remain clean, stocked, and organized.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock items.
- Ensure merchandise displays remain attractive and organized.
- Complete opening and closing procedures accurately and consistently.
- Ensure daily task lists are completed and address any unfinished items.
Communication & Problem Resolution
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding campground amenities, activities, lodging, marina services, and resort operations.
- Effectively communicate with guests, employees, and management.
- Remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations.
- Diffuse guest concerns and resolve conflicts professionally.

Qualifications
- Previous retail, customer service, cash handling, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and assist with employee development.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
- Frequently use hands and arms to handle merchandise, cash, and equipment.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry moderate to heavy objects as needed.
- Bend, stretch, twist, reach, and move throughout the store environment.
- React quickly and efficiently in fast-paced situations.
