We are a 60-year-old, family-owned industrial property owner and management company seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. Our office is located in Central Phoenix, and we manage industrial properties near Sky Harbor Airport, the west side of Phoenix, and the Deer Valley area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability. You’ll receive extensive hands-on training from our current Maintenance Supervisor, who has been with the company for 25 years and will be retiring in late 2027.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor works closely with the Property Manager to ensure our industrial properties are well maintained and our tenants receive exceptional service. This position serves as the primary maintenance contact for multiple properties, traveling between locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors in partnership with the Property Manager.
· Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to company standards.
· Troubleshoot building issues involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and other maintenance concerns.
· Determine when outside contractors are needed and coordinate their work.
· Serve as the daily “eyes and ears” at each property by identifying maintenance needs and potential issues.
· Assist the Property Manager with tenant move-in and move-out inspections.
Maintenance Duties
As needed, the Maintenance Supervisor will perform a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks, including:
· Inspect roofs and perform minor roof leak repairs and preventative maintenance.
· Replace interior and exterior lighting, switches, outlets, and cover plates.
· Repair or replace restroom fixtures, including faucets and toilets.
· Frame walls, hang drywall, tape, texture, and complete drywall repairs.
· Install interior and exterior doors, frames, and hardware.
· Install acoustical T-bar ceilings and ceiling panels.
· Perform interior and exterior painting, including touch-up work.
· Complete general building maintenance and repairs as assigned.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 5 years of commercial or industrial building maintenance experience.
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
· Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
· Basic understanding of building codes.
· Strong communication and customer service skills when working with tenants, contractors, inspectors, and city personnel.
· Ability to understand lease provisions regarding landlord and tenant maintenance responsibilities.
· Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple properties independently.
