If you thrive on building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems across industrial and commercial settings, this role at our assembly facility—and on a project basis at additional company sites—was built for you.
-
Plan: Create or refine installation approaches that cut material waste, keep future maintenance access clear, and comply with specifications and local electrical codes.
-
Document: Prepare field sketches; follow diagrams and blueprints; coordinate concealed wiring before walls, ceilings, and floors are closed.
-
Build: Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit; pull wire through conduit runs.
-
Join: Splice wires by stripping insulation, twisting or soldering, and insulating with tape or terminal caps.
-
Connect: Tie wiring into lighting circuits and power equipment; install control and distribution gear (switches, relays, circuit-breaker panels).
-
Energize: Connect power cables to machinery and appliances (motors, electric ranges) and install grounding leads.
-
Verify: Test continuity and safety using an ohmmeter, battery and buzzer, and oscilloscope; observe live operation to spot hazards and tune performance.
-
Fix: Troubleshoot and repair faulty systems and components; cut and weld steel structural members when the installation demands it.
-
