Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems throughout the hotel premises.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical circuits, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Conduct welding, residential painting, and other facilities maintenance tasks to uphold the hotel’s appearance and safety standards.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities upgrades or renovations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions.
- Lead or support team efforts in supervising maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities and customer service skills.
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to test electrical components effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field within hospitality, manufacturing, or residential settings.
- Strong electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge; familiarity with PLCs is highly desirable.
- Skilled in welding, residential painting, plumbing repairs, and general building maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Experience with CMMS software for managing work orders and maintenance records.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; comfortable working with electrical circuits.
- Supervising experience is preferred; capable of leading teams or projects effectively while maintaining a focus on customer service excellence.
