Allstate Party & Tent Rental is seeking a reliable, hardworking Truck Driver / Tent Installerto deliver and pick up tents, tables, chairs, linens, and event equipment throughout the tri-state area.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, customer-service oriented, and comfortable with both driving and physical warehouse work.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks and delivery vehicles
- Load and unload rental equipment
- Deliver and pick up party and tent-rental equipment at homes, venues, businesses, and event locations
- Verify orders and delivery paperwork for accuracy
- Communicate professionally with customers and event venues
- Set up and break down equipment as needed
- Inspect equipment for damage or missing items
- Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations
- Assist with general warehouse duties between deliveries
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tents and event equipment
- Load and unload trucks safely
- Carry, lift, and move poles, stakes, tables, chairs, flooring, and other rental items
- Help position, secure, and anchor tents according to company procedures
- Install sidewalls, flooring, lighting, and related equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery, moving, warehouse, or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Must be available for weekends and seasonal overtime
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
