The City Beer Hall in downtown Albany is seeking experienced barback/backwaiters that are familiar with a fast pace bar atmosphere.
Barbacks are responsible for backing up bartenders and assisting servers.
Tasks include maintaining stocks, changing kegs, collecting empty glasses, maintaining the premises clean, ensuring there is plenty of clean glassware, filling water glasses, bussing tables (clearing plates) and re-stocking ice as well as basic cleaning duties within the building including general bathroom maintenance. Qualifications for this job include dexterity, the ability to lift kegs, attention to details, teamwork, multitasking, and good communication skills. Previous experience preferred.
