Pikes Peak Outfitter: Customer Service Representative
Pikes Peak Outfitter is a local, family-owned, retail and rental business located in Colorado Springs. Our goal is to invite people into the adventure of paddling and the outdoors and we are looking for quality individuals who can enhance our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, professional advice and assistance to customers.
- Stay current on the features and benefits of all products by reading in-trade magazines, demoing with vendors, and participating in training opportunities.
- Help maintain the store appearance and accessibility of products through proper merchandising, cleaning, and organizing.
- Be aware and observant of customers in the store and boat cage to prevent loss and observe all company safety procedures.
- Explain, demonstrate, and sell boats and accessories effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to rental customers, with attention to detail throughout the rental process.
- Participate as a team member working cooperatively with the manager and other employees to advance the purposes of the store, including special events, and on-water days.
Job Requirements:
- Paddling and outdoor experience and knowledge
- Previous retail sales and customer service experience
- Effective communication skills
- General computer skills
- Good work ethic
- Positive, friendly, outgoing personality
- Able to lift and move up to 65lbs
- Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
