Part-Time Handyman Assistant – DMTH Services
DMTH Services is looking for a reliable, motivated handyman assistant to help with a wide variety of residential maintenance, repair, and installation projects throughout the High Desert and surrounding mountain communities.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, wants to learn new skills, and takes pride in quality workmanship. Experience is helpful but not required—I can teach the right person if you have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and show up ready to work.
Typical Tasks Include:
- Furniture assembly
- TV mounting and picture hanging
- Drywall repair and painting
- Door hardware installation
- Fence and gate repairs
- Flooring installation
- Basic plumbing and electrical fixture replacement
- General home repairs and maintenance
- Jobsite cleanup and material organization
- Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials
What I’m Looking For:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 75+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Honest, punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Eager to learn new skills and take pride in quality work
- Ability to work independently after training
Schedule:
- Part-time with flexible hours based on workload
- Most jobs are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities
Pay: hourly pay based on experience, reliability, and skill level, with opportunities for raises as responsibilities increase.
Growth Opportunity:This position is intended to grow with the company. The right person will have the opportunity to advance into a full-time Lead Technician position with increased pay, greater responsibility, and the potential to manage projects independently as DMTH Services continues to expand.
