Evening Janitor
Location: Eureka, IL
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:30 PM–9:30 PM
Hours: 20 hours per week
ESS Clean is looking for a dependable Part-Time Evening Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a local educational facility in Eureka.
This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys an active job, and is looking for a consistent weekday evening schedule.
You'll be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and ready for the next day. Duties may include:

Cleaning classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

Emptying trash and recycling
-
Cleaning entryways, glass, and frequently touched surfaces

Restocking restroom and cleaning supplies

Following established cleaning procedures and schedules

Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
We're looking for someone who is:

Dependable and committed to consistent attendance

Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work

Comfortable working independently

Able to stay active throughout the shift

Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Willing to follow safety procedures and cleaning guidelines
Previous cleaning or custodial experience is a plus, but it's not required. Training is provided!
