Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate CPR and First Aid Instructor to join our team! In this vital role, you will deliver engaging, instructor-led training sessions on life-saving techniques, including CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), AED (automated external defibrillator) operation, and first aid protocols. Your expertise will empower individuals with the skills and confidence needed to respond effectively during emergencies. You do not need to live in any particular area; you will provide your location and distance willing to travel to client sites!
Duties
- Conduct instructor-led training sessions on CPR, AED operation, first aid procedures, and emergency defibrillation techniques using adult education methods.
- Demonstrate proper use of first aid instruction simulation dummies and AED trainers to ensure realistic practice scenarios.
- Teach comprehensive first aid protocols, including wound care, choking response, and injury management.
- Facilitate classroom experiences that promote active participation, effective communication skills, and confidence in emergency response.
- Assess learner understanding through practical demonstrations and provide constructive feedback to enhance skill mastery.
- Maintain all training equipment, including first aid instruction simulation dummies and AED operation tools, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
Requirements
- Must have access to CPR training Equipment.
- Proven experience in adult education or classroom teaching environments with strong communication skills.
- Instructor certification in American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), and First Aid.
- Hands-on experience with first aid instruction and familiarity with first aid protocols.
- Knowledge of AED operation and emergency defibrillation trainers.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
