Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts to ensure proper handling and storage of goods
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Manage inventory control through regular stock counts, data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS), and maintaining accurate records of stock levels
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts safely in compliance with OSHA standards
- Load and unload trucks while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and materials handling
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely dispatch of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques and warehouse distribution processes
- Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) similar to platforms for inventory tracking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during stocking, order picking & packing
- Proven experience in shipping & receiving procedures within a manufacturing or construction environment
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors in a fast-paced setting
