Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated infant and toddler teachers to join our early childhood education team! In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers, supporting their growth and development during their most formative years. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and curiosity in infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones, behaviors, and individual needs to support personalized growth.
- Create a warm, engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration, socialization, and learning through play.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to share updates on their child's progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Use positive behavior management techniques to foster good habits and emotional well-being among infants and toddlers.
Qualifications
- 2 years of prior experience working with 0-36 months in a licensed childcare center.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning for toddler care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also independently managing daily responsibilities.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift without difficulty.
- Ability to sit on the floor to engage with children and rise from the floor without difficulty many times throughout the shift.
- Possess good balance and be able to walk easily, navigating around children, toys, and furniture.
