Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our Fedex team. We have full and part time opportunities at night for solo dedicated runs and you will be home daily.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different routes while adhering to all transportation regulations.
Duties
- Operate and drive various daycab or sleeper tractors including hooking up doubles for the delivery of freight.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while following designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations..
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, including those specific to refrigerated trailers when applicable.
Drivers must have their doubles endorsement
