CDL-A Local Log Truck Driver

Boone & Grandson Enterprises, LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious CDL-A Driver for an immediate opening. This is a local log-hauling position involving the transportation of wood products and drop-and-hook operations. Drivers will operate company-owned equipment and return home daily.

Job Duties
- Haul log trailers and wood products to designated delivery locations.
- Perform drop-and-hook operations as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Secure and transport loads safely and efficiently.
- Maintain DOT logs and required documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain a professional attitude with customers and vendors.
- Keep company equipment clean and in good working condition.
Schedule Requirements
Drivers must be prepared to arrive at the loading site by 6:00 AM each workday.
Depending on the truck's assigned location, drivers may be required to arrive earlier to pick up the truck and travel to the loading site. Drivers are responsible for adjusting their schedules accordingly to ensure they are on-site and ready to load by 6:00 AM.
Workdays generally conclude after the final load has been delivered and unloaded. The last load is typically scheduled around 5:00 PM, although end times may vary based on customer demand, weather conditions, traffic, and completion of the final delivery.
Compensation
- Paid 30% of Gross Truck Revenue
- Weekly Pay
- Earnings Based on the Number of Loads Completed

Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 5 Years Verifiable CDL-A Driving Experience Required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- No major traffic violations
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Current DOT Drug Test Required
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Safety-oriented mindset
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
