Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Construction Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of landscape construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead and manage landscape construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope
- Supervise and coordinate teams of landscapers, horticulturists, and contractors to execute project plans effectively
- Oversee all phases of landscaping work including land clearing, grading, planting, irrigation installation, tree care, lawn care, and maintenance
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards across all job sites
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and suppliers to meet project specifications and resolve any issues promptly
- Monitor project progress through site inspections, quality control checks, and progress reports
- Manage procurement of materials such as plants, soil, irrigation systems, and construction supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape construction management or supervising large-scale landscaping projects
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening practices, horticulture principles, and irrigation systems
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and general gardening skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising teams in outdoor or construction environments
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites and landscape operations
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors
