We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Bilingual Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews
- Manage acute and chronic conditions utilizing evidence-based protocols and clinical judgment
- Administer injections, including immunizations and dermal fillers, and perform procedures such as suturing and catheterization
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient encounters
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care for diverse populations
- Assist with specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy, esthetic laser procedures, or spinal taps when applicable
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients on health management strategies tailored to their cultural backgrounds and language preferences
- Support patients with complex needs including geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health, or working with individuals with disabilities
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of infection control and sterile processing
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state or region
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (or relevant language) is required to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations
- Demonstrated experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine or hospital settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and pharmacology
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner or similar platforms
- Experience performing procedures such as IV infusion, venipuncture, phlebotomy, tube feeding management or airway management techniques
- Critical care experience preferred; familiarity with dialysis, ventilator management or neonatal ventilators is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients from diverse backgrounds and ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics
