Key responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
- Perform ABGs, intubation assist, and airway management
- Respond to codes and rapid-response events
- Document care and collaborate with the pulmonary/critical care team
Requirements
Active state RRT license/credential in the assignment state- Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
- NBRC RRT credential; acute care/ICU experience preferred
Required: BLS, ACLS (AHA); NBRC RRT. PALS/NRP preferred for pediatric sites.
