Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of beauty services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and nail care consultations.
- Deliver professional hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and hair threading services tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Conduct esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Apply color theory principles to create customized nail art and color designs that enhance each client’s personal style.
- Follow salon safety protocols by maintaining proper sanitation and disinfection procedures for all tools and workspaces.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care and beauty routines, and upsell retail products to enhance their experience.
- Maintain detailed client records of services provided and ensure a clean, safe environment in compliance with all sanitation standards.
- Stay current on industry trends and techniques through ongoing education to continually elevate service quality.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or nail technician with a strong portfolio of manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
- Knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, disinfection procedures, salon safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
- Skilled in customer service with excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques including upselling products such as nail care items or hair extensions.
- Experience performing esthetic treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy is a plus but not required; training can be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.
