Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or courier vehicle to deliver orders efficiently across designated routes
- Load and unload deliveries using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices
- Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws to maintain safety on the road
- Provide friendly, professional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and complete any required reports promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory using forklifts or pallet jacks when needed
Skills
- Previous delivery driver experience or courier background preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus
- Warehouse experience including manual handling, heavy lifting, and load & unload procedures
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations, especially DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle with manual transmission safely and confidently
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Experience with heavy lifting, safe lifting practices, and weight handling in the workplace
- Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous for warehouse support tasks
Pay: $22.42 - $27.00 per hour
