Overview
New England Hospice is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Hospice Liaison to serve as a vital link between healthcare providers, patients, and families within the hospice care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a focus on building meaningful relationships to facilitate compassionate end-of-life care. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in the community by ensuring patients receive appropriate hospice services while maintaining excellent account management and customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations to promote hospice services.
- Conduct educational presentations to healthcare professionals regarding hospice care options.
- Manage accounts effectively, ensuring client needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
- Negotiate service agreements and coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless patient transitions into hospice care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting families during difficult times.
- Analyze market trends and patient needs to identify opportunities for outreach and service expansion.
- Lead outside sales efforts through community engagement, networking, and participation in relevant events.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Word and PowerPoint to prepare presentations, reports, and proposals for stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospice, B2B sales, medical sales, or pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with account management expertise.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales or community outreach roles within healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to deliver compelling product demos.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple accounts and coordinating efforts across teams.
- Analysis skills to interpret market data and patient feedback for strategic planning.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement. This position requires candidates to be proactive, compassionate, and highly organized, with a passion for improving patient outcomes through effective communication and relationship-building within the hospice care sector.
Pay: $76,500.00 - $93,500.00 per year
