Pay: Starting at $18 - 20.00/hour (based on experience)

Carmel Pediatrics is a busy, family-centered pediatric primary care practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to children from infancy through young adulthood. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming, positive environment for patients and their families.
We are seeking a dedicated, long-term Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or MA who enjoys working with children and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is not a seasonal or summer-only position.
Position Summary
The LPN/MA plays a vital role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring an efficient and positive experience for our patients and families. This position requires a compassionate, organized, and proactive nurse who can anticipate patient needs and deliver excellent pediatric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs (height, weight, etc.), including growth chart documentation
- Administer vaccines and maintain accurate immunization records
- Assist providers with patient exams and in-office procedures (e.g., strep, flu testing)
- Perform basic clinical assessments for acute and well visits
- Provide patient and parent education in a clear, supportive, and reassuring manner
- Communicate lab and test results to patients and families
- Coordinate patient care, including scheduling tests, procedures, and referrals
- Manage phone communication, including triaging calls and addressing patient/parent concerns
- Assist with completion of medical forms and documentation
- Call or fax prescriptions as directed by the provider
- Support overall clinic flow and assist physicians in daily operations

Preferred Experience & Skills
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of growth and development from birth through young adulthood
- Experience with vaccine administration
- Previous experience in a clinical or physician office setting
Education & Licensure
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- CPR and First Aid certification (provided if needed)
- TB testing provided
