American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring combined adult and pediatric ED experience, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department — no separate pediatric area; pediatric patients are seen in all zones across 24 mixed care areas
-
Common patient presentations include STEMI, stroke, sepsis, sprains, sutures, and high-acuity cases, including pediatrics
-
Drips in use include routine vasopressors, insulin, and sedation

Standard nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1, with occasional stretching to 5:1 during peak census

12-hour day/evening shifts: 11a–11p and 1p–1a
-
36 hours per week
-
Weekend requirement: 6 shifts within every 6-week schedule block

No on-call or holiday requirements

Epic (ASAP module) is the EMR used
-
Active VA or Compact RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

TNCC certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of ED experience required

Experience with both adult and pediatric emergency patients required

Navy blue scrubs required

Epic ASAP module experience is relevant to this role
