American Traveler is hiring a Travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment in Las Cruces, NM, requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and an active New Mexico license.

MRI Imaging department within an acute care regional medical center in Las Cruces, NM
-
Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
-
After-hours and weekend call rotation required: approximately 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month
-
13-week contract

EMR: Medhost (experience preferred)
-
Imaging services provided to both inpatient and outpatient populations
-
No floating required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience required
-
Active BLS certification required
-
MRT (MRI Registry through ARRT) required
-
Active New Mexico radiologic technologist license required if applicable

Graduate of an accredited AMA school preferred
-
ARRT registration preferred
-
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Responsible for providing timely MRI imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols

Performs imaging of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with and without contrast media

Adjusts imaging parameters as needed to optimize study quality
-
RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
-
Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
