The Role:
Our Elkins-based strategic marketing agency is seeking a full-time Senior Account Executive to join our Client Service Team and lead, build, and execute strategic marketing and communications plans for an established book of clients with minimal oversight. This is a senior-level opportunity for a seasoned strategic leader who is ready to take ownership of key accounts and directly contribute to the agency’s sales and growth.
What We’re Seeking:
Someone who is motivated and excited about creating and executing strategic marketing and communication efforts in an agency setting. You must be passionate about managing timelines, budgets, deliverables, and personalities. The person for this role understands how to translate a client’s business goals into a marketing plan the whole team can execute against. This person has a real track record for building and holding trust, the kind of person a client calls first, not last, when something goes right or wrong. This person thrives under pressure, values a proactive approach, communicates in a timely manner, appreciates a good process, and is invested in moving outside the box to deliver innovative ideas to meet our clients’ goals.
A Closer Look At The Job:
As a Senior Account Executive, you will own a book of clients and act as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for these relationships.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, manage, and execute the full scope of activities needed to meet client goals.
- Develop annual marketing plans with measurable outcomes, aligned to client budgets and built to encourage growth.
- Conduct regular client/campaign performance reviews, analyzing key metrics, and making data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns.
- Meet regularly with Social Media Strategists to align client social goals with broader strategic marketing plans.
- Plan, place, and execute layered paid media across traditional, non-traditional, and digital formats.
- Ensure smooth internal communication between departments to align priorities, resolve challenges, and drive efficiency in campaign execution.
- Partner with the Creative Director to identify and execute creative tools that fulfill client needs (websites, branding, video, collateral, and more).
- Establish and maintain client brand standards across all touchpoints with input from the Creative Director.
- Direct writing efforts to meet — and expand — client communication needs.
- Manage clients' online reputations and recommend strategies aligned with evolving SEO, AEO, and GEO requirements and standards.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions with new and current clients and develop the resulting plans.
- Support business development efforts by identifying and executing upsell opportunities within existing accounts and contributing to new client acquisition.
- Participate in weekly internal traffic and account manager meetings to align on goals, progress, and accountability.
