Technology Providers Inc. (TPI) has a great opportunity for experienced Service Technicians to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a standard and daily, the Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager for assignments and basic employee relations matters.
The Service Technician is responsible for the onsite troubleshooting, debugging, and certifying of integrated systems that are submitted through the TPI service portal. The Service Technician is also responsible to ensure successful onsite deployment of all service programs, including guaranteed service response and preventative maintenance contracts. In addition to having mastered the skills and tasks of a Field Technician, this individual must also be able to interface with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and company personnel. Onsite environments include, but not limited to private or corporate offices, local and federal buildings, higher education facilities, restaurants, hotels, and resorts.
Experienced Field & Lead Technicians are encouraged to apply.
Necessary skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and/or under a tight deadline
- Ability to interact with clients during the troubleshooting phase of a service request, as well as review of system functionality/training at the end of a request
- Ability to troubleshoot, certify, and commission all elements of assigned service requests, including an advance understanding of manufacture specific software
- Ability to read and understand project drawing sets and instructions, system one-line drawings, and device elevations
Education:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of audiovisual installation experience, preferred
- Formal education in Electronics or related field, preferred
- AVIXA CTS and other industry certifications, preferred
- Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets TPI Driving Privileges standards is required.
